THERAPY

HYPNOTHERAPY

I’ve long been interested in complimentary medicine and how it can help in our day to day life.

I believe that all the “stuff” we don’t deal with emotionally will show up physically and behaviourally and stop us from enjoying our lives.

Bad stuff can happen, but it’s the way we deal with it that’s so important, our attitude to events and our willingness to see things differently can make all the difference.

I’m a holistic healer, I believe in treating the whole person not just the presenting condition. We will work together from your first visit to decide the best course of treatment for you, we may use one or all of the treatments I offer over time.  I work with Hypnotherapy, EFT, Angelic Reiki and various wellbeing practices. I found my way to hypnotherapy a number of years ago when I needed help with stress and anxiety due to sustained family illness and bereavement a few years ago. I was at a point where I was desperate to regain some control over my emotions and make some changes in my life.

When I saw an advertising banner for holistic hypnotherapy, I called the number the same day (this banner was right across from where I worked, I’d driven past it every day for 2 years and not ‘seen’ it!). I didn’t know what hypnotherapy was, I just wanted to feel better and something about it just felt right.

I expected the therapy just to address my current situation, which it did, but in doing so I also healed years of unresolved feeling and emotions that had been effecting my decision making, confidence and self worth.

That course of therapy changed my life and lead me to train as a hypnotherapist. I share the benefits hypnotherapy and help people who are struggling to take control of their lives. Hypnotherapy can help with so many issues, such as anxiety, phobias, habits, self esteem, confidence and so much more.

I’m also trained in Angelic Reiki and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) both of which work perfectly with Hypnotherapy. (please see the Therapies tab to read more about these)

I came to being a therapist later in life, and I see this is as a benefit, my life experience and the knowledge I have gained, the training I have undertaken and the people I have met along the way have all added to what I can share with you.
